Melanie Maddocks
Senior Actuarial Analyst
Melanie Maddocks joined Leif Associates in 1996 and serves as a lead actuarial analyst. During her years at Leif Associates, Melanie has performed a wide range of analysis assignments, including rate studies, projections, provider reimbursement analysis, and the development of rating models. Most recently, she has developed enhanced analytic models, which include risk adjustment profiles for identification of members for focused interventions.
Melanie assists in setting up and supporting innovative payment reform programs, working with providers on reimbursement issues, and providing quick and accurate ad hoc reports for clients in the midst of negotiations or legislative activity. She also assists with the development of capitation rates between state and local parties for Medicaid, CHP+, and Behavioral Health lines of business.
Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Creighton University.
