Liz founded Leif Associates in November 1995. She has over twenty-five years of experience in the benefits industry, with emphasis in HMO, insurance company, and consulting environments.
Liz's experience has enabled her to develop specific expertise in insurance and HMO rate development, product development, capitation rate development and analysis, regulatory compliance, data analysis, quality benchmark development, and a variety of other related disciplines.
Prior to founding Leif Associates, Liz was Vice President of Pricing and Compliance for FHP of Colorado, a consultant, and an officer and associate actuary at Mutual of Omaha.
Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of West Florida. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries.
