Associate Actuary
Steve has been with Leif Associates since 2006 and has since become a trusted expert in actuarial analysis. He is an Associate Actuary specializing in a variety of core functions, including client data analysis, IBNR (Incurred but Not Reported) calculations, lag chart development, fee schedule reimbursement modeling, projections and budget tracking analysis, OPEB (Other Post-Employment Benefits) retirement valuations, stop loss and high-cost reporting, plan design development and benefit research, as well as providing ad-hoc reporting as needed.
He guides clients in making data-driven decisions that impact their benefits and financial strategies.
Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Northern Colorado. He is currently pursuing Fellowship Actuary with the Society of Actuaries through ongoing exams. He is married and has 2 beautiful children as well as 2 dogs. He is an avid swimmer, backpacker, outdoor enthusiast, and has more hobbies than most people should.
